Service Delivery (72-Hour) Policy

Host Engines · hostengines.com · Effective 28 October 2026 · Governing law: Federal Republic of Nigeria

Host Engines promises delivery of the Website within seventy-two (72) hours. This policy explains exactly when that period begins, what it covers and what happens if timelines are affected.

1. When the 72 Hours Begin

The 72-hour period is measured in consecutive clock hours and begins only when all of the following have occurred:

  • payment of ₦79,000 has been confirmed by our payment processor;
  • the Client has fully completed and submitted the Details Form;
  • the Client has supplied all essential content (business name, description of services, contact details, WhatsApp number, logo or branding preferences, and domain name choices); and
  • any clarification we reasonably request has been provided. If any of these items is provided later, the 72-hour period begins on the date and time the last item is received.

2. What “Delivery” Means

Delivery occurs when the Website has been built, connected to the hosting, domain and SSL, and a live link or preview link has been sent to the Client by email or WhatsApp. Where DNS propagation or registry processes apply, the domain may take up to forty-eight (48) additional hours to resolve worldwide; this propagation time is outside our control and is not counted as delay.

3. Events That Pause or Extend the Timeline

The delivery period is paused or extended where delay is caused by:

  • late, incomplete, unclear or inaccurate information or content from the Client;
  • the Client’s delay in answering questions or approving the domain name, or the chosen domain being unavailable and an alternative not being supplied;
  • unlawful, inappropriate or infringing content which we must review or decline;
  • failure or delay of third parties, such as domain registries, payment processors, internet or power providers;
  • events of force majeure as defined in the Terms. We will inform the Client of any delay as soon as practicable.

4. Domain Name Selection

The Client should provide at least two (2) preferred domain names in order of priority. Domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to registry rules. If none of the Client’s choices is available, we will suggest alternatives and the timeline is paused until the Client approves one.

5. Review and Revisions

After delivery, the Client may request revisions as set out in the Terms of Use. Revision work is handled within a reasonable time, normally within [forty-eight (48)] hours of a clear request. Revisions do not form part of the 72-hour period.

6. Late Delivery

If we fail to deliver within the 72-hour period for reasons within our control, we will notify the Client, give a revised delivery time, and prioritise the order. If the Website is not delivered within [seven (7)] days after the original deadline for reasons wholly within our control, the Client may request a refund under the Non-Refundable and Refund Policy.

7. Business Days and Holidays

The 72-hour commitment applies on a consecutive-hours basis, including weekends. Where an order is received during Nigerian public holidays or a system-wide outage, we will inform the Client of any expected effect on the timeline.
